Technical Basis
A review of available sources identified exposure limits (AEGL-2, IDLH, TWAs) for this chemical. The 1990 IDLH was selected as TEEL-3. The AEGL-2 was selected as the TEEL-2 due to its priority among the emergency exposure limits (Section 1). Due to insufficient data, an AEGL-1 does not exist for this chemical; therefore, TEEL-1 values were derived according to Table 3.5.
• TEEL-1 = TEEL-2/11
• TEEL-2 = AEGL-2
• TEEL-3 = IDLH (1990, 300 mg/m3)
This review generated TEEL-2 and TEEL-1 values consistent with Rev. 29A. The Rev. 29A and current TEEL-3 basis are consistent, the 1990 IDLH; however, Rev. 29A reports the value in incorrect units (300 ppm), instead of the published 300 mg/m3.
