Technical Basis
Toxicity data is investigated for aminopropyltriethoxysilane. From RTECs, a rat oral LD50 is the most preferable data for TEEL-3 development (Section 3.3.1 and 3.3.2). Independent data is not available for TEEL-2 or TEEL-1; these are derived from the adjustment factors in Table 3.5.

• TEEL-2 = TEEL-3/6
• TEEL-3 = Estimated from rat oral LD50 (1780 mg/kg)
This review generated a TEEL-3 value that concurs with Rev. 29A. The recommended TEEL-2 and TEEL-1 values are less conservative than those previously published. For TEEL-2, a rat 360-min TCLo is listed in the Rev. 29A methodology; this data was not identified during current research and is therefore unconfirmed, resulting in the difference.
