Technical Basis
A review of available sources was unable to identify exposure limits for this chemical, but toxicity data was available. A mouse oral LD50 was selected as the TEEL-3 basis. TEEL-2 and TEEL-2 values were calculated from the TEEL-3, in accordance with guidelines in the handbook (see Table 3.5).

TEEL-1 = TEEL-2/11
TEEL-2 = TEEL-3/6
TEEL-3 = Mouse oral LD50 (434 mg/kg)

This review generated values that are slightly less conservative than those reported in Rev. 29A. In Rev. 29A, the TEEL-3 basis is a mouse, intraperitoneal LD50 dosage, however the current recommendation (oral route) is a more preferred toxicity exposure route (see Table 3.1). The review results recommend a revision from the values in Rev. 29A.
