Technical Basis
Technical Justification A review of available sources identified an AEGL-2, AEGL-3, and a MAK-TWA for this chemical. The AEGLs were selected as the TEEL-2 and TEEL-3 due to their priority among the emergency exposure limits (Section 1). THE MAK-TWA was selected as the TEEL-1 basis.
• TEEL-1 = MAK-TWA x 3 (0.2 ppm)
• TEEL-2 = AEGL-2
• TEEL-3 = AEGL-3
This review generated TEEL ppm values consistent with Rev. 29A. Differences in the reported TEEL-2 and TEEL-3 values in units mg/m3 may be due to conversion and rounding of these values instead of using source values. Values in units mg/m3 are reported as published in the technical support document Table S-1, per handbook guidance (Section 3.4.7.2).
