Technical Basis
A review of available sources identified exposure limits (AEGL-2, AEGL-3, OEL-STEL, OEL-TWA) for this chemical. The AEGL-3 and AEGL-2 were selected due to their priority among Protective Action Criteria (Section 1). The OEL-STEL and OEL-TWA were evaluated for the TEEL-1 basis but resulted in a PAC-1 = TEEL-1 = TEEL-2; therefore, they were not selected for TEEL development. The TEEL-1 value was derived according to Table 3.5.
• PAC-1 = TEEL-1 = PAC-2/11
• PAC-2 = AEGL-2
• PAC-3 = AEGL-3
This review generated PAC values inconsistent with Rev. 29A. Although the Rev. 29A and current values have the same bases, the discrepancy may be due to differences between the published values in the chemical’s AEGL technical support document versus the values displayed on the webpage. Values are reported as published in the technical support document Table 2-25, per handbook guidance (Section 3.4.7.2).
