Exposure limits were not available for this chemical. Analysts used toxicity data for LiBr, applying Table 3.4 and Table 3.5:
TEEL-1 = TEEL-2/11
TEEL-2 = TEEL-3/6
TEEL-3: LD50, Rat, oral, Dose = 1800 mg/kg

These results are slightly less conservative than the values listed in Rev29A, where a mouse oral LD50 starting point was used. The mouse and rat oral data is noted as the same source and year, thus species preferability prevailed in the analyses. Both analysts used the same method, resulting in the same TEEL values. The review resulted in a recommendation to revise previous thresholds. TEELs were rounded to two significant figures and converted from referenced units to either ppm or mg/m3, providing both values.
