Technical Basis
A review of available sources identified AEGLs (AEGL-1, AEGL-2) and ERPGs for this chemical. The AEGL-1 and AEGL-2 were selected as the TEEL-1 and TEEL-2, respectively, due to their priority among the emergency exposure limits (Section 1). AEGL values in units mg/m3 are reported as published in the technical support Table 4-9, per guidance (Section 3.4.7.2). Due to insufficient data, an AEGL-3 is not recommended; therefore, the ERPG-3 was selected as the TEEL-3 due to its priority among emergency exposure limits (Section 1).
• TEEL-1 = AEGL-1
• TEEL-2 = AEGL-2
• TEEL-3 = ERPG-3
This review generated TEEL ppm values consistent with Rev. 29A. Differences in the reported TEE-2 value in units mg/m3 may be due to conversion and rounding of these values, instead of use of source values.
