Technical Basis
A review of limited available sources identified a rat 1-hr LC50. This source was evaluated using factors in Tables 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4. TEEL-2 and TEEL-1 values were derived according to Table 3.5.
• TEEL-1 = TEEL-2/11
• TEEL-2 = TEEL-3/6
• TEEL-3 = Rat 1-hr LC50 (112 ppm)
This review generated TEEL values inconsistent with those in Rev. 29A. Both the current and Rev. 29A TEEL-3 share the same basis, a rat 1-hr LC50; however, the current value is slightly lower than Rev. 29A. The current TEEL-2 is derived from the TEEL-3, while Rev. 29A was based on a rat oral TDLo that was not found during current research. Differences in TEEL-1 can be attribute to different TEEL-2 values.
