Technical Basis
A review of available sources was able to identify the following exposure limits for this chemical: an IDLH (1990,) a PEL-C (OSHA,) and a listed TLV-STEL (1992.) The IDLH was selected as the TEEL-3, the PEL-C was selected as the TEEL-2, and the TVL-STEL was selected as the TEEL-1.

TEEL-1 = TLV-STEL (1250 ppm)
TEEL-2 = PEL-C (2000 ppm)
TEEL-3 = IDLH, 1990 (4500 ppm)

This review generated TEEL-3 and TEEL-1 values that are consistent with those reports in Rev. 29A. The TEEL-2 value is more conservative than Rev. 29A. In Rev. 29A, the TEEL-2 basis was a mouse 60-min TCLo, however, this data found during research and the current recommendation, a PEL-C, is a more preferred data source (see Table 3.1.)
