Technical Basis
A review of available sources was unable to identify exposure limits or toxicity data for this chemical. The AEGLs for the chemical xylene (CASRN: 1330-20-7) were used as the basis of the TEELs which are also used for all three isoforms of xylene (p-xylene, o-xylene, and m-xylene as they are structurally similar. The same values are used for this chemical (zzHydrocount®, LSC cocktail) since LSC cocktails utilize xylene (a mixture of isomers p-xylene and o-xylene) as solvents (detergents) to be able to hold aqueous samples.

TEEL-1= AEGL-1 (60-minute; xylene, CASRN: 1330-20-7)
TEEL-2= AEGL-2
TEEL-3= AEGL-3

This review resulted in values that are consistent with Rev. 29A.
