Technical Basis
A review of available sources identified AEGLs and exposure limits (PEL-TWA, REL-STEL) for this chemical. The AEGL-3 and AEGL-2 were selected as the TEEL-3 and TEEL-2, respectively, due to their priority among the emergency exposure limits (Section 1). Due to insufficient data, an AEGL-1 does not exist for this chemical; therefore, the REL-STEL was selected as the TEEL-1. The TEEL-1 value in units mg/m3 is reported as published, per handbook guidance (Section 3.4.7.2).
• TEEL-1 = REL-STEL (2 ppm, 9.78 mg/m3)
• TEEL-2 = AEGL-2
• TEEL-3 = AEGL-3
This review generated TEELs consistent with Rev. 29A.
