Technical Basis
A review of available sources identified the following exposure limits: TLV-STEL, LOC, and an IDLH. These data sources were selected according to the hierarchy listed in Table 3.1.
• TEEL-1 = TLV-STEL (10 ppm)
• TEEL-2 = LOC (0.15 g/m3)
• TEEL-3 = IDLH (1990, 250 ppm)
This methodology concurs with the previous PAC release and is consistent with the conservatism observed from a Health Hazard Rating of 2 (correlates to TEEL-3 = 790 mg/m3).
