The presentation will share insights on the emergency management complex gathered from the FY23 and FY24 Emergency Readiness Assurance Plans (ERAPs) of DOE/NNSA sites. The presentation will present key findings from a comparative analysis of the two years of readiness assurance data. It will highlight notable changes from year over year and potential trends, and how findings will be used for decision-making and activities to reduce risk and support sites. The presentation is a precursor to the release of the DOE/NNSA FY23-FY24 Bi-Annual Report on the Emergency Management System.
Best practices to be explored are improved data collection processes that increase data accuracy and reporting transparency. New automated features implemented on the data analytics platform, PULSE, such as approval workflows and auto-population and auto-calculation, will be highlighted as factors in successful data collection.
The presentation will unpack the process NA-40 used to analyze ERAP data, draw insights, and inform its reporting, decision-making, and support to sites. The presentation will invite attendees to provide feedback on the process with the intent of continuing to build upon and refine the process for identifying how NA-40 can best support sites.
