Synopsis

​​With the release of the NNSA SAR Policy in April 2024, the Security Analysis Cell has been building the processes to implement the policy and establish the SAR Program​.

Lessons Learned

  1. Confirmation that NNSA SARs are searchable in eGuardian and Guardian with keyword and proximity searches.
  2. Confirmation that NNSA SARs are being elevated to Guardian and assigned to relevant FBI field offices for review.
  3. Work within NNSA to do outreach, training, and advocacy for the SAR program and e ngage in proactive re-direction from parallel systems (e.g., SSIMS and EOC reporting) into eGuardian.
