Facilitates the DOE/NNSA Emergency Management Issues Special Interest Group (EMI-SIG) strategy and aligns the following five subcommittees with the goals of the Office of Policy, Preparedness, and Readiness Assurance (NA-41) and the mission of the Office of Emergency Operations (NA-40) through project management, product proposals, Technical Support Requests, and membership meeting organization and facilitation: DMSC (DOE Meteorological Subcommittee, EPI (Emergency Public Information Subcommittee), Emergency Readiness Assurance Subcommittee (ERASC), STARS (Subcommittee on Technical Analysis and Response Support), and TESC (Training and Exercise Subcommittee).

Prior to working with SMS, Inc. and NA-41, Linda was with Sandia National Laboratories in various organizations for 9.5 years and retired from Bank of America, after 25 years, prior to SNL.

She is involved with non-profit organizations as a volunteer and as a fundraiser, loves traveling, a good day at the beach with a book, baseball, writing, and almost any kind of music. Hopefully, one day, you'll find a book of hers on the NY Times Best Seller list.
