Mary Nelson, CBCP, SHRM-CP, EMT is the Business Continuity Manager at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory/Stanford University. She built the program from the ground up and the program has matured nicely since 2016. She is also SLAC’s emergency operations center (EOC) Site Manager. Prior experience includes Stanford School of Medicine/Neonatology, UCSF/Ophthalmology, Gilead Sciences, and she ran a graphic design business. Mary has a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science. She co-authored the COOP Coordinator’s Guide for the DOE EMI SIG organization. In her free time, she’s a stained glass artist and loves to spend time with her family .
