Professional Bio

Richmond Lamb has been involved in Emergency Management/Services for 36 years, he has served in the capacity of law enforcement, fire suppression, and medical emergency services. He has been with Emergency Management at the Savannah River Site for 8 years and has performed several roles within EM at SRS. This service includes working within SRNS facilities as the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Site Emergency Management Readiness Assurance Manager, and Site Emergency Management Training Manager. Mr. Lamb is currently serving as the SRS Emergency Management Manager. His responsibilities include ensuring the Emergency Management Program at SRS remains in compliance with DOE and SRS program planning requirements. Mr. Lamb is an active state instructor for South Carolina Fire Academy, South Carolina Emergency Management Division and previously served as a state instructor for the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. He earned a Bachelor of Science Occupational Safety and Health Fire Science from Columbia Southern University and is a South Carolina Certified Emergency Management Manager.
