Travis Scott Chief of the Savannah River Site Fire Department

Travis Scott has been an member of the firefighting and emergency medical services community since 2010. With a commendable career marked by dedication, expertise, and leadership, he was appointed Chief of the Savannah River Site (SRS) Fire Department in September 2023.

Travis's journey began over a decade ago when he embarked on his path as a Firefighter and Paramedic. His commitment to service and his community quickly distinguished him as a reliable and skillful professional. Over the years, his roles have expanded alongside his growth in knowledge and leadership abilities.

Before assuming his current role as Chief, Travis served as the Assistant Chief of Technical Services, where he oversaw and managed critical operational aspects of the department. His strategic vision and technical proficiency contributed significantly to enhancing the department's capabilities and response effectiveness. Prior to that he was the SRS EMS Director responsible for overseeing emergency medical services operations, demonstrating his comprehensive understanding of emergency response and healthcare.

As Chief of the Savannah River Site Fire Department, Travis continues to lead with a focus on excellence, safety, and innovation. His extensive experience, combined with his passion for helping others, ensures the department remains a pillar of strength and security within the community it serves.
