Professional Bio

Jacob has been with the Office of Secure Transportation (OST) since 2009. From 2009 to 2019, he served as a Federal Agent and Convoy Commander. In 2019, Jacob transitioned to the Emergency Management Branch as an Emergency Management Specialist. Currently, he is the lead exercise planner, responsible for developing and implementing emergency response organization training programs for OST. He also supports the integration of emergency response plans, policies, and procedures to facilitate effective responses to OST operational or transportation emergencies, and he serves as an Emergency Response Duty Officer (ERDO). Before joining OST, Jacob worked as a contractor for the Department of Energy at the Savannah River Site and with other organizations supporting the U.S. mission in Iraq. Jacob is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served for eight years.
