Professional Bio

Debra Gentile has over 30 years of experience in the DOE emergency management system with the last eight years being at LANL. She worked for the DOE Oak Ridge Office’s Emergency Management Team for 10 years and for DOE contractors in Oak Ridge prior to that. Her experience has involved all aspects of the emergency management program to include emergency plans and procedures, assessments, training for Federal EOC staff, and planning with state and local officials. At LANL, Debra conducts emergency preparedness and planning for several of LANL’s nuclear facilities to include readiness activities for restart/startup of nuclear facilities.
