Robert Scripp holds the position of Head of the Emergency Management Department at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California, overseeing response operations, planning and policy, alarms, and building/fire safety. Mr. Scripp has 27 years of progressive experience in emergency management in leadership positions in the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Sony, working closely to foster crisis management and disaster recovery solutions that include both public and private sector partners. Rob has managed FEMA response teams and participated in operations at both the field and headquarters level, working across agencies and various levels of government to support crisis response. Rob has built and managed Emergency Operations Centers and has directed Federal responses to disasters, including coordinating medical teams and emergency power missions.
