Steven Petersen is a media relations specialist at Idaho National Laboratory and amplifies INL’s research to local, regional and national audiences. Since joining INL in 2019 as an intern, he’s helped modernize the laboratory’s engagement efforts across social and digital media, most recently overseeing the migration and complete rebuild of INL’s external website in 2023. He’s also a member of the laboratory’s Emergency Response Organization and develops processes and procedures for staff to follow during emergencies in addition to facilitating training for numerous positions in the lab’s Joint Information Center.
