I am currently the Safeguards and Security Manager at the West Valley Demonstration Project with 8 years of experience in this position. I provide oversight to the Contractor Protective Force at the WVDP. I supervise the Sr. Emergency Management Specialist at the Site. I am the Site Badging Official and the Site Inquiry Official. In my past professional life, I was a deputy sheriff for Cattaraugus County, NY and retired as an administrative lieutenant. I am a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. I have instructed criminal justice courses for a local community college. I was a general topics instructor for 15 years at a regional New York State Sheriff's Academy. I hold a bachelor's degree from Empire State College and a graduate certificate in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Virginia.
