Joshua Vance is an accomplished Emergency Manager with over twenty years of experience. He holds an MPS in Homeland Security, and his comprehensive understanding of emergency management is reflected in the quality and effectiveness of his work. Joshua began his career as an Emergency Manager in the Air Force, where he developed a strong foundation for planning and leading the responses to disasters and other emergencies.

Currently serving as an Emergency Management Specialist at NNSA under the Office of Continuity Programs and Mission Resilience (NA-43), Joshua utilizes his experiences in knowledge-based approach to drive growth and engagement. His evolving discipline and willingness for continuous improvement aims to enhance readiness, while adapting to meet changing strategies and requirements.

Based in Washington, D.C., he is passionate about fostering an environment that follows a systematic problem-solving process and excel at coordinating organizational teamwork and reaching goals rather than working in silos.
