Professional Bio
I am a seasoned Producer, Director, and Video Editor with over 30 years of experience leading multifaceted projects and creative teams. My expertise spans from developing innovative concepts and writing educational training scripts to designing print materials and overseeing the production direction for new initiatives.
For more than 20 years, I have been a key player in the Public Affairs Science and Technology (PAST) Fusion Academy – Decision and Infrastructure Science division at Argonne National Laboratory. In my role as Producer and Senior Multi-Media Communications Specialist, I have produced award-winning content for high-profile clients including the Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program, Joint Counterterrorism Department, Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, FBI, and National Defense University, as well as local and state emergency management departments.
In addition to my production work, I served as an instructor and course manager for nationally recognized technology courses designed for emergency management public information officers, public affairs officers, and first responders. A significant part of my role involved providing emergency public information training and simulated exercise support for organizations such as the Department of Energy (DOE), FEMA, the Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP), and the National Radiological Emergency Preparedness (NREP) Program.
Beyond government projects, I have led production for a series of HGTV television shows in the Chicagoland area, produced and directed for the Hallmark Channel, managed national celebrity broadcast commercial spots, and created content for healthcare broadcasts and educational products. Additionally, I have contributed as a segment producer for FOX Television Chicago.
