Professional Bio
Daniel “Dan” Sullivan has been involved with emergency management related functions for more than twenty years. Starting as a local auxiliary communications volunteer, Dan went on to become a homeland security contractor before working for several years in emergency preparedness and continuity on Capitol Hill as a federal employee. During his career he has supported planned events ranging from training exercises to Presidential Inaugurations, and emergencies ranging from natural hazards such as blizzards, ice storms, and hurricanes to technological and man-made threats including Y2K and January 6th. Currently, Dan works for Covenant Park Integrated Initiatives supporting the Office of Continuity Programs and Mission Resilience. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, being outdoors, and learning photography.
