As an Emergency Management professional with 25 years of experience, Jason joined KCNSC in 2023 and is the program lead for all KCNSC's Emergency Management activities. Jason regularly collaborates with leaders across KCNSC as well as external emergency response agencies to ensure a cohesive organizational approach to emergency incidents at KCNSC. Jason has held many positions related to Emergency Management most recently as a Division Chief for the City of Overland Park Fire Department where he was a people leader responsible for 80% of the department’s emergency response. He holds a BA in Public Administration, MS in Management, and a graduate minor in emergency and disaster management. In addition to Emergency Management Jason has extensive expertise and experience in change management, process design, operational execution, risk management, disruptive event, continuity of operations, safety, and Incident Command.
