The ECN provides dedicated communications capabilities in support of the global emergency management and response mission of the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) and its Government partners.  DOE/NNSA essential emergency operations functions utilize ECN at Headquarters, field office locations, and remote and/or mobile locations.  During emergency events, the ECN is the primary communications platform for collaboration, decision making, and response, thereby ensuring the Department’s emergency response/emergency management mission is accomplished during emergency situations affecting DOE/NNSA assets and interests.    

At the booth we will raise awareness of ECN services available across the complex, provide a live ECN node for people to check their accounts, and demonstrate some new technologies on the network.
